Talents’ Day

‘Every individual is bestowed with one or the other talent’. Platform is provided to exhibit this talent and enrich it, through talents day every year.

Education Week

“Service to Humanity is Service to God” is the motto of this unique programme organized by all institutions that come under the umbrella of Al-Ameen Educational Society throughout India.  The main objective of this programme is to create Educational awareness in under privileged class of Society. Teacher Trainees create Educational awareness through street plays and dramas. Teacher Trainees prepare colorful and attractive placards, door to door campaign and survey is done to know the Socio-economic and literacy rate among the people living in those areas.

Societal Programmes

“Man is a social animal” the institution organizes different societal programmes such as Survey in Collaboration with Rotary Club, Dental Checkup, Eye Screening Camp, Blood Donation Camp and Fund raising rallies for Tsunami & Flood victims.

Inviting people of Repute

Every year we invite people of repute as Chief Guests like vice chancellors and education ministers to different curricular and co-curricular activities. To mention a few Vice Chancellors of different Universities like Prof. B. Sheik Ali, Founder & Former Vice-chancellor of Mangalore & Goa Universities, Historian & Educationist, Prof. M. R. Gajendragad, Former Vice Chancellor, Dharwad University, Dr. N. R. Shetty, Former Vice Chancellor, Bangalore University Dr. M. Khajapeer, Former Vice Chancellor, Bangalore University and Karnataka University, Prof. Thimmappa, Former Vice Chancellor, Bangalore University, Prof. Ranganath, Former Vice Chancellor, Bangalore University, Prof. A. M. Pathan, Vice Chancellor of Central University of Karnataka and Former Vice Chancellor for MANUU. Dr. Parameshwar, Minister for Higher Education, Dr. B. K. Legal Rights Awareness

College organized ‘National Seminar’ on ‘Rights to Education Act’ for teacher educators it was two days seminar. Seminar was a grand success because of the kind co-operation of our Management. College has organized seminar on ‘Right to Information Act’ and a Lecture on R.T.E

Women empowerment day

Al-Ameen group of Institutions celebrate Women Empowerment day as a mark of ‘International Women’s day’ every year. Famous women activists are invited to create an awareness about women rights, women empowerment, educational and social problems of women etc.,

Value Education

College has developed its own syllabus for value education and classes are taken as per the time-table. A certificate is issued at the end of the course in addition to this, lectures and debates are organized on value education. Students have visited RIMSE, at Mysore during excursion to know about the importance of value education for teacher trainees. Visited blind school to inculcate empathy & sympathy regarding the differently challenged students

Symposia

Al-Ameen College of Education held Symposium on 10.09.2011 Principals from 15 different B.Ed., colleges were invited to discuss on topic grading system to be introduced in B.Ed., and the relevance of NCF 2005 and 2009 to the teacher educators.
