Community Living Camp

Institution conducts Community Living Camp every year to bring awareness about Community living, Secularism, feeling of oneness, dignity of labor, leadership qualities.

Above said objectives are achieved through different activities such as Community Survey, Community prayer, Shramadhana, afforestation programme, Personality Development programme, Yoga, lecture cum demonstration, disaster management- lecture cum demonstration, sports, games and cultural activities. This is very interesting programme of the course.

Field Trips & Excursion

“View the World and gain the knowledge” with this objective we organize number of field trips and Educational Excursion every year. To quote a few, visit to Lalbagh Flower show, planetarium, museum, special school exhibitions, related to Science and disaster management etc. We take them to places of Historical importance like Ooty, Hyderabad, Coorg, Munnar, etc.

Guest Lectures

“Variety makes learning interesting”. Students want a change from routine class room environment. ‘It’s learn to learn’ with interest and enthusiasm. So college organizes Guest Lectures related to different current issues like Spiritual and value education, Tourism, Child abuse and Social Management, Population explosion, Environmental Education, Science Day, Red Cross, Nano Technology, Disaster Management, R.T.I., mental health E-Learning, Curriculum Development for Secondary School,  Stem Cells a Hope for Human Health, Stem Cells a Hope for Human Health, etc.,

Sports

“All Work no Play, Makes John a dull boy” with the intention of developing a ‘strong mind in a strong body’ we conduct sports and games competition. Students participate in inter-collegiate competition and won Prizes.

Cultural Activities

‘Recreation is the essence of well being’, so there is provision in the Time-Table for co-curricular activities wherein our Trainees participate in different programmes like ethnic show, fancy dress, flower arrangements, mehandi competition. Students participate in inter-collegiate competition and many have bagged prizes.

Placement Cell

College has placement officer who takes care of collecting and displaying the advertisements on the college placement board and organizes campus interviews. The reputed institutions like: Jain International Schools, Tutor Vista.com, Inventure Academy, Noble Shamford International School, Qatar, Doha, conducts campus interviews in our institution.

Environmental awareness

Every year institution observes ‘World Environment Day’ through the following programmes: collage making, seminars, guest lectures, planting of trees, debates etc., important issues related to environment are displayed on the bulletin board. Our institution bagged second prize in inter-collegiate competition for preparing a model related to adverse effect of environmental pollution

Campus clinic

We have a campus clinic. Campus doctor is appointed by the Management, doctor is available during college hours and render her services to the students faculty and non-teaching staff of campus ‘A’ & ‘B’

Students Counseling Service

Part time counselor is appointed to counsel staff and students many students utilize this to find solutions to the personal, educational and social and psychological problems

Class representatives

Class representatives are elected through ballot. This includes President, Secretary and a Treasurer. This is to develop civics sense and leadership qualities.

College Magazine ‘Ayeena’

Since 1992 our college releases a college magazine Ayeena (reflections) to bring up the innate potentialities of students. This includes different articles, poems, puzzles etc., contributed by the faculty and the students.

Library

Library plays very important role as information center. It is a ‘treasure of knowledge’. It consists of sufficient number of Volumes and Titles with digital catalogue with internet facilities. There is a qualified and experienced librarian with an assistant. It works from 10.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.

Gems of Al-Ameen College of Education

Since 2000 till 2009-2010 many students have bagged Ranks & Gold Medals through which the students have brought Laurels to the institution.
