The school has been divided into four houses for the conduct of inter house competitions like Qir’at, Hamd, Naat, Essay, Quiz and Science Talk at regular intervals throughout the year. This Exercise enables the child to develop his/her over all personality. In addition the students are encouraged to take part in inter school competitions organized by different agencies like NIE, YMCA, CMCA, DLC, Putani Vignana and Wonder la.

National festivals like Independence Day, Republic Day and Karnataka Rajyothsava Day are held in a grand manner to inculcate patriotism and nationalism among students.

Annual Exhibition is held every year in the month of September and Annual Athletic meet is conducted every year for the students to take part and exhibit their talents. This also facilitates sporting spirit among learners.

All the students of primary and high school are provided the facilities in different games like volley ball kho-kho, kabaddi, cricket, soccer throw ball and telecast indoor games like TT, Chess and Carom.

On the school day spectacular plays are displayed based on societal themes like light and sound programme. Suvarna Karnataka, street child labour evils.

Prizes are awarded handsomely to encourage the hidden talents to come out.

During the year 2006-07 the school was accorded a separate NCC unit with provision for girls as well. The same year Noor Ayesha Khanum 10th standard student was awarded Zilla Mathada Prathibha Puraskara. The district level remained for her outstanding performance in academics with a cash prize of Rs.10,000 followed by presentation of citation.

Master Naeem Khan of 9th std was awarded  a prize on his presentation on the contributions of Gandhiji which was organized by Pratham Books and Deccan Herald.

Mr. Rameshwar Thakur, Governor of Karnataka gave the prize to the student on 31-1-08 at Raj Bhavan Bangalore.

Professors from University of Science visit regularly to deliver lecture in physics to promote interest in Science among school children.

In the 2007-2008 in the month of January 2008, ABLE (Association of Bio technology led Enterprises) the apex body representing the Indian Biotech sector, in collaboration with the department of Information Technology envisaged a novel educational programme called Biospark to disseminate the marvel of biotechnology and its applications among Sr School students. This programme entails a series of workshops, quizzes, hand on experience and interactive multimedia presentations designed in a creative and fun while you learn way.

As a part of this programme, Dr. Mittur N Jagadish Director Monsanto Research Centre, a division of Moinsanto Holdings Pvt. Ltd and Prof Shankuntala Katre, Retd. Prof. of Zoology, Bangalore University, currently the Hon programme Director ABLE, visited the school, gave a powerpoint introductory lectures and demonstration to the students of IX and X Std. of our school. It was one of the best interactive sessions organized in the school.

Career Counseling workshops are held for X Std Students every year.
