Courses - Master of Business Adminstration

A two year full time MBA Programmes is the main focus of the institute’s activity with dual specialization offered in the field of finance, marketing, systems and HRM. This courses is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and is affiliated too Bangalore University.

OBJECTIVES:
The Broad objectives of MBA course id to impart professional education and training in the various aspects of modern management to students and provide them with opportunities to develop Conceptual and analytical skills and foster essential attitudes for their development into competent and proactive managers.

Admission

Eligibility:
Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in any discipline recognized by Association of Indian Universities with a minimum of 50% in aggregate.

Procedure:
Admission is based on scholastic metric and performance in the entrance test conducted by Karnataka Post-Graduate Management Colleges Association. The entrance test is an objective type / multiple choice covering logical reasoning, English comprehensive and quantitative aptitude. Award of the Degree

  1. Not less than 40% in each paper excluding internal assessment and 50% in aggregate in each semester excluding internal assessment marks.
  2. Pass in the qualifying courses.
  3. Satisfactory completion of internship projects.
  4. Minimum 50% each for project dissertation & viva-voice.

The curriculum lays significant emphasis on developing focused practical skills in the students and enabling them to have an integrated application oriented management approach. The university uses the concept of credits, one credit being equivalent to ten classroom contact hours. The curriculum is offered in four semesters, spread over two years

The Internship training provides the students an opportunity of real life Business Management Experience to apply classroom learning to actual environment. This Training orients the students with the functioning and management of organization. All the students are required to work in reputed companies for a period of two months

Dissertation:

Dual Specialization:
The Institution provides facilities for dual specialization. A Student has to opt for a minimum of 6 electives, in the specialization stream. If his/her dissertation topics are in a specialization stream, he/she has to take a minimum of four electives in that stream. This is to facilitate students to choose more than one field of specialization.
