NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME
NSS Unit of our institutions has been conducting medical camps, where general health checkup, eye testing, dental checkup along with distribution of medications and patient counselling are offered free of cost to lot many needy.

Our NSS unit was chosen to represent Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, karnataka at National Level Integration camp, held at Agra, where they bagged highest number of laurels.

MEDICAL GARDEN
The Medical plants procured from various herbal gardens and wild are being maintained in decorative pots in the college camps. They provide the basic inform nation regarding their source, family, chemical constituents & uses. Students learn a lot about the soil conditions, pesticides, watering, fertilizer & other parameters of maintenance.

COUNSELLING SERVICES
Counselling Services are offered on a confidential basis by experienced members of the faculty. Students who requires guidance for personal or academic problems may avail these services. Each teacher has been allotted 20 students for counselling.

QUALITY IMPROVEMENT PROGRAMME
The quality improvement programme was launched in the year 1995, with an objectives to upgrade the expertise and capabilities of the faculty members. This provides opportunity for the faculty members.

  • To attend short term courses.
  • To improve class room teaching

A number of programme under QIP with sponsorship from AICTE and Rajiv Gandhi University were conducted. This has shown a positive effect on professional development, excellence in learning and improvement in class room teaching. Quality Improvement Programme has kept the academic molecule update with the latest knowledge.
