WELCOME TO AL AMEEN COLLEGE
OF PHARMACY
The Al Ameen College of Pharmacy, an institution run by
Al-Ameen Educational Society is situated at Al Ameen Campus
(opp. Lalbagh Main Gate), Hosur Road Bangalore.
Al Ameen college of Pharmacy was founded in 1982 under the
auspices of Al Ameen Educational Society which has already
completed 33 years of meritorious service and runs over
150 institutions.

The institute offers three main courses of study, Diploma
in Pharmacy (D.Pharm), Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Master
of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) which were commissioned in the years
1982, 1985, 1992 respectively, the intake per batch being
60 students for D.Pharm & B.Pharm and 35 students for
M.Pharm. It rose to the cadre of an approved research centre
in 1996. The institute has a highly qualified & experienced
teaching staff.
The college is well equipped with the latest laboratory
facilities, computers and a treasure trove of a library
with online electronic library information system. It has
a large auditorium with a seating capacity of 300 people
wherein seminars, conferences, workshops, symposia etc.
are held.
ASSOCIATION OF PHARMACEUTICAL
TEACHERS OF INDIA (APTI)
Mission: To be the best National Platform
for dealing with all issues to pharmacy teachers and education
in india.
APTI, established in 1996 by the leading personalities like
Prof. M.L. Schroff and Prof. G.P. Srivastava has its headquarters
at Al Ameen College of Pharmacy
The Association publishes one Scientific Journal (India
Journal of Pharmaceutical Education) & APTI Bulletin
which upgrades and informs the members about various activities
performed. Our College is also Head Quarters for APTI (Karnataka
Branch).
Teachers now not only give a class room instructions but
also became educators in the true sense by being counsellors,
motivators, guides, researchers, advisors, consultants to
Pharma Companies etc. so as to create quality pharmacists
of technological era. APTI has instituted nine Awards to
recognize outstanding work done by Pharmacy Teachers.
HEAD QUARTERS FOR - ICTA
The Indian Cosmetic Technologist Association was started
in February 1999, in Pondicherry.
The head quarters of which are housed at Al Ameen College
of Pharmacy, Bangalore.

ALUMNI ASSOCIATION OF AL AMEEN
COLLEGE OF PHARMACY
Alumni Association of Al Ameen College of Pharmacy conducts
regular annual meets for all the alumni. Our alumni are
doing very well across the globe and hold our institution
in high esteem. A good platform for alumni is taking our
institution ahead.
